Raised and residing in the backwoods of rural Talbot County Georgia, Neal Lucas has spent the last decade running the roads all across the Southeast delivering his brand of Roots/Blues and Southern Rock. With influences ranging from Precious Bryant and Albert King to Govt Mule, Aquarium Rescue Unit, and the classic country lexicon (and given to much improvisation) you never really know what might go down at a show.
Neal has played in support of national acts such as B.B. King and Travis Tritt, performed at GABBAfest 2012 in Macon, Frank Brown International Songwriters Festival, and most recently at the inaugural Historic Zion Church Blues Festival in Talbotton, Ga. He has three album releases: Hold It Up High (2011), New Day (2014), Lost In The Music (2019), and released three new singles this past summer. Cold beer and slide guitars make for a good time..
